History
This elite destination of over 6,200 acres includes more than three miles of powder-like sand beaches, a protected harbor marina only minutes away from one of the best fisheries of the world, the Punta Espada Golf Course an award winning golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, school district with the Cap Cana Heritage School, a bilingual school accredited by AdvancED, providing neoteric education from Early Childhood through 12th grade and the UNIBE University Cap Cana campus that offers complete and innovative programs for all levels of university degrees. To date, more than US$1,000 million in infrastructure and other facilities have been invested which include the construction of 72 miles of paved roads, water supply and waste water management system with a capacity of 900,000 gallons per day; a 14MW on-site power generation and distribution system with 20MW of back-up diesel generators and 100 miles of fiber-optic cable.
MARINA
Our state-of-the-art marina is the perfect place to begin your day of adventures. Go sailing in your yacht, tour the beautiful shores of the Dominican Republic, and fish and explore the treasures of our island, all before returning to our safe harbor in Cap Cana by the afternoon.
The Cap Cana Marina has over 130 slips, accommodating up to 150-foot yachts, with complete services for captains and crew. Its coastlines and proximity are considered among the best spots in the world for fishing and deep-water diving. The Marina has been the scene of world-famous fishing tournaments and has become a popular destination among those who enjoy record-breaking fishing.
Due to the inland construction of the marina, it is considered a protected harbor, providing a very valuable commodity during hurricane season. Caleton Beach Club
Eden Roc Beach Club (former Caleton Beach Club) offers a fashionable and fun setting to enjoy the natural pleasures of sun, sea, sand as well as the more urbane pursuits of fine dining, spa and wellness, and shopping. Accessible only by guests of Eden Roc at Cap Cana hotel and members, the Beach Club provides an intimate setting to connect with loved ones, new friends and yourself.

Juanillo Beach
Spend a relaxing day in one of the most beautiful beaches the Dominican Republic has to offer. Worldly famous, this spot of paradise is amid coconut palms and immaculate white sands. Take a walk along the shore or enjoy one of many specialities the homonym restaurant has to offer, like fried fish with tostones (roasted platanos) or fresh ceviche.
Api Beach
Api Beach is a small beach club located in the Cap Cana Marina, offering its visitors fresh Caribbean food and a wonderful pool/beach view to enjoy. On the weekends they usually have live music or a DJ.
Eat & Drink
There are over twelve restaurants offering world gastronomy and the timeless sense of the Caribbean culture. Find your favorite vintage, have a catch of the day rock lobster for an entrée, delight your self with a tropical fruit sorbet for dessert. The local fisherman’s set sail at sunrise to bring the catch of the day as a gift from the sea to your table.

Inspired by years of research, the menu exudes a journey of flavors and ingredients from Mediterranean cultures and blends local elements with specialties flown in from artisanal suppliers in Europe.
Open daily for breakfast form 7:30 am to 11:00 and for dinner from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Juanillo Beach Club
Is the bohemian spot inside the community. Their image is represented by the most beautiful beach in the Dominican Republic, which gives its name; simple, relaxed and naturally spectacular. Riva Bar

La Cava
With its charming domed roof made of bricks, this intimate gathering spot feels like a cozy cellar in a Colonial home or historic hacienda, but has been designed for today’s wine connoisseur.

The Billfish Report has declared the east coast of the Dominican Republic as the number one billfish area. The promise of blue and white Marlins, Sailfish, Wahoo and Tuna make this a favorite of anglers. The Marina is a catch and release marina, member of the Billfish Foundation. Major angling tournaments are held each year.

Upon reaching the mouth of the cave, descend an eco friendly staircase and go through the vast underground network of chambers and tunnels that lie beneath.
Hoyo Azul
Discover the mystic and breathtaking cenote “Hoyo Azul”! This adventure starts with an unhurried, relaxing eco walk, through a trail located in the surroundings of a tropical dry forest. Throughout this tour you will be able to see vivid representations and depictions of the Tainos, their rituals and the objects used in their daily living as well as learning all about the flora and fauna that surrounds you. Upon reaching the mouth of the cave, you will ascend this impressive cenote through a staircase in which you will witness original Taino pictograms, authentic evidence that they made use of this cave.
